Rare Sunday Post

I won't do this often - only when I want to share something special with you.

I've talked and talked about Sale-A-Bration. This is the best time to purchase supplies. Cardstock, adhesive, embellishments, 2014-2016 In Color paper, Ink pads, Designer Series paper, Reinkers. Or get those big ticket items like the Big Shot, Simply Scored, Stampin Trimmer, Envelope Punch Board. Clearance Items, Weekly Deals, or... well to be honest anything in the catalogs! LOL.

Why? Because for every $50.00 you spend you get a free item. If you have a really big order - over $150 let me know and I'll give you a hostess code so you can get the hostess deals - 10% of your purchases in free items. Get your order to $250 and you get an extra $25.00 in addition to the hostess rewards! $300? Well you go up to 12% back and the extra $25.00 ($61.00 in free stuff)

It's a perfect time to become a Stampin'Up! Independent Demonstrator - run your business the way you want - Discount on your hobby, Extra money to spend, or Make it a Career. The Demonstrators I've met in Stampin'Up! are supportive, encouraging and helpful. When you join, you get to customize the products in your kit. During Sale-A-Bration - the starter kit is $99.00 plus your local tax and FREE shipping! The kit normally comes with $125.00 but during Sale-A-Bration you get an extra $30.00 bringing the total to $155.00. Now there is a $300 in orders per quarter - but since the quarter ends in March - you have till June to sell/buy that amount (oh and that's retail - not with your discount)

So email me or comment! I'll get back to you quickly. I'd love to be either your Stampin'Up! Demonstrator or to help you join!

Newest addition to the craft room creation.

Yes it is just a notebook and one I found in the house. Quick shopping trip and I bought a package of Page Protectors.  I was going to put Paper Pumpkins in it but I didn't like the way they fit. I was totally bummed that I had spent money and it didn't work. Then I realized I had 8.5X11 cardstock. So I put one color in each sleeve. As I have very little cardstock at the moment this worked. Each sleeve holds about 4 or 5 sheets, which works for me. My plan is to eventually get a bigger notebook and put that amount in each sleeve for all the colors. Extras will be kept in some type of storage, this way I have every color on my table!

And with the paper in it.

Total cost: $2.00

Building a Stampin'Up! Workspace on a tight budget!

Ever wanted a Stamping Workspace but on a tight budget? Well this is for you. My budget is TIGHT and I need a work area. I'll share pictures as I go.

Right now it's just a drawing table that I got when I started school and a Rubbermaid 5 drawer storage  shelf thing.

Table

                                                                    Basket

                                                                     Drawers

It isn't the perfect work area - but for now it works - Mostly, have to find a chair. The basket was from Dollartree and hadn't been used since I got it. The worktable, as I said that was a drawing table bought for school so I had it. The shelves - again something in the house. I arranged the few items I have from my starter kit and some gifts in each of the drawers.

Drawer 1 contains my multipurpose glue, Dimensionals, some embellishments and a Gift Box Punch Board, Gift Bag Punch Board and Pillow Box Punch Board (all of which were gifts from before I learned of Stampin'Up!) I plan on adding an Envelope Punch Board in the near future.

Drawer 2 contains my Stampin' Ink Pads and the little ones from Paper Pumpkin and the Paper Pumpkin stamps - I'll out grow this soon!

Drawer 3 holds my stamp sets, framelits, MY catalogs (meaning the ones I use), Post cards and Card Stock

Drawer 4 well it's pretty much a catch all for anything I use frequently - including the Paper Pumpkin box, Business paperwork etc.

Drawer 5 is for Catalogs to send out.

This set up cost me not 1 penny, I had most of this stuff laying around the house for years. Yes, that is cement floor. I pulled up the carpet in that room. It has been going to be the studio for months - just haven't gotten around to moving the rest of the art stuff in and Cement is easier to clean than carpet. I'll seal it and paint it this spring.

I have 2 5ft buffet tables that will be moved in, and I need to rig up some lighting better than 2 photo shoot lights. But again TIGHT budget. I have a 3 drawer paper storage system I got from Walmart for about $10 and I'll use that to keep Basic Black, Whisper White and Crumb Cake 8.5X11 Card Stock in - since all of those are go to colors.

Once I get the tables in, I'll be making a storage system for Paper and inks out of foam core. Here is what it will look like. The colors just indicate size. I figure I'll need 6-7 sheets to make this and I may break that up over several months - unless I can find some at Dollartree and of course glue. I should have a hot glue gun and glue sticks somewhere.

The Blue is for 12X12 paper, the red for 8.5X11 paper, the green for Stampin Inks, the brown and white are storage areas for embellishments and other little things. The green line across the top - that's just so I know how long to make the backing.

The best thing about being an artist of any kind - is figuring out how to use what you have to do what you need. That's called Creativity!

50/50/50

So what is 50/50/50? It's easy! Here are the rules:

1. Spend $50 at http://bienvillestamping.stampinup.net

2. I put your name in a box

3. When I reach 50 sales I will pull 1 name to recieve a $50 shopping spree at Stampin'Up!

4. I will do this from Today 2/17/2016 till 3/31/2016 as many times as needed when 50 people order $50.

See? I made it easy! And Stampin'Up! is giving everyone who orders $50 between now and March 31st 1 Free Item! P.S. If you want more chances to win - a $100 order = two entries, $150 order = three, and so on for each $50 you spend! And you earn more free items for every $50!

I'd love to give away a $50 shopping spree or 3!

Schedule on the blog and explanation.

I've been thinking a lot on what to do - other than tell you how great Stampin'Up! products are. So I decided on a schedule.

Monday beginning on March 7th I'll be posting a project with a video and text. But on this Friday the 19th, I'll post a list of everything you need to do it. I set it up this way so you have time to order the products that you will need and get them in. My plan is to do a minimum of 3 projects using anything I ask you to order also I will try my best to keep your order under $25.00 before shipping and tax.

All projects will require any combination of the following: Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Multi-Purpose Glue, Tear and Tape Adhesive, Snail Adhesive, Paper Snips, and Bone Folder. (This list will run $44.25 - however they will last a long time. You can also wait until the list includes the item but they will not be included in the $25.00 and under list.)

Wednesdays will be for Weekly Deals.  As I only order on the 3rd of the month, I will pick one or two items from the Weekly Deals that we will use in a project - I'll tell you that week, what you need to get.

Paper Pumpkins box will be posted on the Thursday after I receive mine.

Twice a month I will do an "Ask Me a Question" on Tuesday.

Happy Thursday!

Happy Thursday! One more day to the weekend. If you are a crafter or scrapbooker after the weekend house stuff is done, I bet you love to get into your craft room and make something pretty. I know I do!

Sale-A-Oration ends on March 31st. That means we have 4 Thursdays this month. Why do I love Thursdays? They are amazing days to have a StampinUp! Online Workshop! I have plenty of space to add you to my March calendar.

Why online? Well Americans spend an average of 11 hours a day online, so your guest are already on. Schedule conflicts often prevent guest from attending - but online they can check in periodically, also I keep your party going till Tuesday, so people can order. They can sit in their comfy chairs, in their homes and watch. If they can't watch Thursday - they can watch at any time later. You don't have to spend time doing the important things in life making sure you have the house prepared for guest. You don't have to spend money buying snacks for everyone. You can invite online friends too!

What I do for you if you host an online workshop:

1. I send you 2 sets of catalogs - the Annual and Occassion catalog before the event, that you can show to your friends and family. That way you can start showing people StampinUp!'s beautiful stamps, paper, embellishments and tools.

2. I give you a hostess gift and offer your guest door prizes.

3. I do the demonstrations you'd like to see.

4. I send you a Hostess Code that your guest will use when they order.

5. On Tuesday, around noon I will send you an email telling you what rewards you have earned.

So are you ready to schedule an online workshop for March? Or have more questions? Comment or email me at BienvilleStamping@gmail.com and let's talk about scheduling your Workshop.

Monday! Countdown 2

In Sundays Post I talked about Paper Pumpkin a little. I want to talk a little more about it. Now don't go enrolling till I get my kit!

But it's awesome! December was a Calendar project, January was a Valentine's themed project. Who knows what February will be - no one knows! And that's the best part, the complete and total surprise of it. How many true good surprises can we get in life? But here's one that arrives in your mail box every Month! The kits are designed to take 30 minutes to put together.

But what if you don't like the project? Not a problem! I promise to come up with at least 3 alternate ways to use the kit! Hopefully more! The kit is so popular it has it's own group on Facebook!

Now you are going, right it's going to be too expensive. it's $19.99 a month - INCLUDING SHIPPING!
